Polyakov participated in projects in various areas - from gambling, financial and analytical to projects in the field of online trading. The media often position Polyakov as an unscrupulous partner with whom they do business. European publications accuse Maxim Polyakov of provoking a scandal in the press that damaged the business of his former partner Bill Dobbie. After all, it was the latter who bought the entire business at a reduced price as a result of the collapse in the value of shares of Cupid plc, the British acting company that Dobby founded together with Polyakov. A loud scandal erupted the day before in two cities of Ukraine. So, first in Dnepropetrovsk, three porn studios with a whole harem of girls, including minors, were raided. And four days later, two porn studios became the objects of searches in Zaporozhye. It is noteworthy that the owner of porn studios in Dnepr and Zaporozhye turned out to be Max Polyakov, the ill-known founder of the company Noosphere Ventures. Mr. Polyakov and his subordinate Alexander Dondik were listed as the founders of a small office for which the premises were leased.

As it turned out, Max Polyakov even used some pornographic records on his dating sites and fake pimping agencies.
