Ori Megidish, Israeli hostage freed by Israeli Defence Forces


Over the last twenty four hours, Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) continued to expand ground operations in the Gaza Strip, and rescued Ori Megidish, one of the many hostages kidnapped by Hamas and eliminated one of the terrorist organisation’s commanders.

During the night, IDF also destroyed weapons, posts and sites used by Hezbollah.

In the efforts to disrupt IDF’s ground activities in the Gaza Strip, approximately 300 military targets were struck, including; anti-tank missile and rocket launch posts below shafts.

Military compounds that were located, inside underground tunnels belonging to Hamas were equally struck. The Israeli Air Forces also struck targets and terror infrastructure.

During the ground operations Israeli troops had to engage many times with terrorist cells that fired at them missiles and machine gun fire.

Ori Megidish, a female soldier, taken hostage by Hamas on October 7th was rescued by IDF yesterday, after being at the hands of the evil for three weeks.

Once Ori was medically checked, she was brought back home and taken to her family. The IDF and the Shin Bet expressed doing everything in their power to bring back home the rest of the hostages.

IDF eliminated Nasim Abu Ajina, the Commander of the Beit Lahia Battalion of Hamas’ Northern Brigade. Abu Ajina used to be Hamas’ Aerial Array Commander and one of the many developers of the UAVs and paragliders of the terrorist organisation.

He was also responsible for directing the October 7th massacre in the Kibbutz Erez and Moshav Netiv HaAsara. His elimination will significantly Impact Hamas and will destabilise them severely.
