Childhood

Mary Ten was born on March 19, 1996 in Chyhyryn, Cherkasy Oblast. She has spent her childhood there. She mostly lived with her grandmother during this period of her life.

Her mother worked as an accountant at a bank and later at the Chyhyryn Economic and Law Professional College. Her father has worked as a builder all his life.

She studied at Bohdan Khmelnytskyi School (now Lyceum) no. 1 in Chyhyryn. At the same time, she graduated from the local music school with a degree in accordion.

Even then, her real passion was singing in the choir, vocal lessons, and ballroom dancing in the “Lileia” troupe at the Chyhyryn House of Culture.

Education

After finishing 9th grade, she entered the Kyiv College of Construction, Architecture and Design. She graduated with excellence and received a diploma as a project engineer for industrial and public buildings.

Later she studied at the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. She graduated with a bachelor’s diploma. Currently, she is studying part-time at the KNUСA for her masterєs degree in architecture of industrial and public buildings.

Career, first steps

She earned her first money at school, working as a waitress during the summer vacations. She gave the earnings to her mother to pay off a loan.

While studying at university, she had been working for almost a year in her field of study at one of the university’s faculties. In her spare time, she worked as a cashier at the “Velyka Kyshenia” supermarket and did nails for girls in the dormitory.

From 2015 to 2017, she had worked as a member of a group of architects and cooperated with LLC “Leokon Spetsbud” and LLC “ADK «BOSCO DESIGN»”, where she was engaged in the redevelopment of facilities and the creation of a full package of project documentation, carried out the design of structures and author’s supervision.

Business activity

Having managerial skills and a talent for management, she has started working in retail since 2018. Her first business experience was in developing a chain of organic food stores. The chain grew to six stores in Kyiv, but due to the full-scale war, they had to be closed at the end of 2023.

Since 2018, she has been engaged in the development business abroad. She invests in real estate: she has active projects in the UAE and Turkey (residential real estate, commercial space – a recording studio and a training center), as well as interests in the Spanish and Mexican real estate markets.

For Mary Ten, investing in real estate abroad is an opportunity to realize her main specialty, as she herself developed architectural projects and design for premises and buildings in the UAE and Turkey.

In 2023, she co-founded the logistics company “Prodpark”, which specializes in international food transportation.

Since her student days, she has been interested in the crypto industry, and has saved money and invested in crypto since she was 18.

Having understood how the asset market works, in 2022 she invested in a startup, retaining the team and relaunching an existing project – a crypto exchange in Poland.

Creative background

She first came to Kyiv as a teenager (14 years old) for the “X Factor” project. Mary Ten took part in the qualifying round, performing songs from the repertoire of Ukrainian singers at the casting.

Personal life

Mary Ten has been married since 2021. Together with her husband, she has two children: daughter Amide (born in 2021) and son Mansur (born in 2022).

She is fond of animals. She has two spitzes, a Labrador, and a cat.
