Russian propaganda has recently highlighted bridges in Germany that could potentially be targeted by Russia in response to any attacks on the Kerch Bridge in occupied Crimea.
Dmitry Kiselyov, a Russian propagandist, identified four bridges in Germany during the “Vesti Nedeli” program, suggesting they could be destroyed in retaliation.
The bridges mentioned by Kiselyov were the Fehmarnsund and Rügen bridges in northern Germany, linking the mainland to the islands of Fehmarn and Rügen respectively.
Additionally, he mentioned the Hohenzollern Railway Bridge in Cologne and the Magdeburg Water Bridge, connecting two canals across the Elbe River, approximately 150 km from Berlin.
The interception of these discussions by Russia was labelled by the German Minister of Defence, Boris Pistorius, as an element of information warfare.
